DESIGN STORY

The Fan Bag’s distinct shape was inspired by the hand fans carried by women as far as 4,000 years ago. Traditionally, hand fans were a sign of power for women, but the Fan Bag does much more than your average hand fan. When you open her up, the concealed wallet inside puts a modern twist on this classic design and breaks the norm of the eighteenth century that only “men” could have wallets. The Fan Bag combines the two: the elegant power of the hand fan with the practical power of a wallet.
